Keyboard Shortcut To Copy Settings Does Not Work on Windows

In the latest version of lightroom when using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + C the copy settings window does not appear.

If you go to the settings menu it works correctly.

The paste settings keyboard shortcut does work.

    Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble with Lightroom Classic. We are here to help.

     

    Could you please share the system info of Lightroom Classic from Help > System Info?

    Are you using Lightroom Classic in a language other than English? Is it only an issue with the Copy & Paste shortcuts, or do any other shortcuts also don't work?

     

    Please try pressing the CTRL Key, Shift Key & the C key one at a time to see if they are recognized.

    When you press the CTRL key, you should see a magnifying glass with a marquee square.

    When you press the Shift key, you should see a magnifying glass with horizontal arrows & pressing C should trigger the Crop tool.

     

    Please restore Lightroom preferences following the steps mentioned in How to set Lightroom preferences and let us know if that helps.

    Thanks for your reply.


    The language of lightroom is Spanish, I have tried to set it to English but the error persists.


    When I press CTRL the cursor changes to rectangle.

    When pressing SHIFT the cursor changes to the two arrows.

    Pressing C changes to compare mode in the display.

    It is only the copy keyboard shortcut that fails, paste and all other keyboard shortcuts work correctly.


    I have restored the preferences and now I get an error at startup, attached image.
