Keyword completion does not work in Lightroom 12.4

The problem with keywords not coming up as auto complete suggestions, reported as a bug in version 11.2 and corrected in 11.3 seems to be back. I have version 12.4 and new keywords do not appear as suggestions, while the old ones do. 
I would be helpful for guidance to get Lightroom to work correctly again.

    Deleting the 'catalogname helper.lrdata' in your catalog folder should fix this.
