Keyword presets getting scrambled/won't save

Hello,

Using Lightroom Classic 9.1.  My keyword presets won't save properly.  I'll create one the way I want it to be and then save it or change it, switch to another preset, and then switch back to the original one and my changes are lost.  Or keywords I added to other preset lists are randomly showing up in the current one.  It's like Lightroom is losing its mind and can't keep track of which keywords belong in which named preset. This had been working fine for several months and then today for some reason this problem started happening. It's really frustrating because my keyword presets are now just random jumbles of keywords that I can't change to the way I want them.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Are you referring to 'Keyword Sets' ?

Yes, I meant sets- not presets.

Actually I found that if I click "Update Preset"  (and yes it actually is Preset) in the drop down menu next to Keyword Sets after clicking the Change for the keyword set I was editing, my changes are saved and don't randomize.  Is that how it's supposed to work? It's very odd and nonintuitive if so.  In any case I got the desired behavior now.
