Lack of option to 'Vote' in 'Questions'

I have a query about being unable to 'Vote' for a post in 'Questions'.

In the previous version of the forum we could vote on a discussion (now 'Questions').  Some discussions had many, many votes, showing that a lot of users had the same problem as the initial poster.  The number of votes was an indication that it should probably be investigated by Adobe or could even potentially be a bug.

As I understand it, a discussion is not moved to bugs until it can be reproduced by Adobe (see a couple of posts by ​@Rikk Flohr_Photography at the top of the 'All posts' page).  It can take a very long time for Adobe to acknowledge an issue as a bug, so how do we now indicate in 'Questions' that we also have the same problem?  

If the answer is to click 'Like', then to my mind this is not really the same as upvoting to indicate that you have the same problem.  It just means that you like the post!  Can the option to ‘Vote’ be reinstated in ‘Questions’?

    This is normal and has always been this way, so there is nothing to ‘reinstate’. You should like, or post an answer with details that may help identify the problem.

    ​@JohanElzenga I beg to differ - it has not “always been this way” as in the older forum you could upvote any discussion, or even a ‘reply’, which I and others often did if we had the same problem.  It might be the ‘new normal’ but was not the ‘old normal’! 

     

    For some discussions/questions in the new forum the previous ‘upvotes’ in the old forum have been transferred to the new forum as ‘likes’ by the admins.  To me, ‘liking’ a post does not have the same force.  As long as Adobe employees on this forum take notice of the number of ‘likes’ I guess that is all that matters.

     

    Anyway, just wanted to register my thoughts!

    What I remember is that in the old forums you could not ‘Upvote’ in what was then called ‘Discussions’, only in ‘Bugs’ and ‘Feature Requests’. Anyway, since these are new forums that run on a new platform, it is irrelevant what was possible or not possible in the old forums.
