Latest LrC v10.0 Not Compatible with Mac OS

I am running LrC on an iMac 2010 with macOS High Sierra.

The iMac cannot upgrade to later macOS due to the age (2010) and up to now no problems with LrC upgrades. However the latest LrC v10.0 is NOT Compatible and requires a later macOS.

Does this mean that I will not be able to receive any further LrC upgrades?

Are there any other options available other than buying a new iMac?

Thanks

Unless you can find a way to update* your iMac to Mojave or later, then your out of luck regarding LrC 10 and future updates.  Even then, performance on a 10 year old computer may well not be that great, especially as LrC 10 makes a lot more use of GPU than earlier versions. Also, the GPU on a 2010 iMac is unlikely to be fully supported, if at all.
