When adding a TIFF saved from PS to Quick Collection Im getting the following message:

"An internal error has ocurred: ?:0: attempt to compare nil with string"

Its driving me insane and it slowed down my processing work.  Any idea how to fix it?

It only started with the latest update....

LR 10 introduced bugs in how it represents Custom Order for collections.  As a workaround, select the Quick Collection, do the menu command View > Sort, and choose another sort order.

Please add details of your issue to the bug report:

and be sure to click Like and Follow at the bottom of the first post. That will make it a little more likely that Adobe will prioritize a fix, and you'll be notified when the bug's status changes
