LC Classic CC 7.3.1 - repeated login requests

Title says it all really. I don't use the cloud facilities and I'm not interested in syncing with other devices so it's annoying to be regularly asked to log in to my account. Is there a way of stopping this happening?

    Yes, log in one time, do not log out, and you will never be asked to log in again.

    By logging in, you are NOT logged into some cloud account, and of course, you never have to turn on any synchronizing with the cloud anyway. Logging in simply allows Adobe to validate the license of your software.

    I've logged in via the LR dialog several times and it doesn't seem stick. I also have the impression - I'll have to verify this - that if I just dismiss the login dialog I then can't quit LR and have to force quit if I want to exit the program.

    No trouble for the last few days. Don't know what has changed but I'm happy!
