I bought this new camera and it appears that Adobe has added this in the approved camera list. Downloading RWL files work well on the Mac but not on my Windows PC. I do have the latest updates! Who can help?

    I do have windows version 1809 so the latest. In th LR app it says it needs to be 1709 and higher and therefor he doesnot upgrade LR. Strange. I restart few times a day!


    LR Classic CC works just fine on my Windows 10 v1809. Problem is probably with your copy of the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application.

    One way (not the only way) to fix this is to remove the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application, Reinstall it using the latest download.

    Do not uninstall Lightroom Classic CC, Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC, or any other CC programs. Just the Desktop application.

    This is a very simple process not to be scared of.

    Oh, before you do it, just to make sure a small bug that can be cleared up does or does not exist. In Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application, sign out, then sign in, watch for error messages, then check for updates.

    Removed Adobe completely. Reinstalled and now it works.

    You can't be running the same version on both computers. To see the exact version go to the Help menu item in LR on both and select System Info.

    What Windows OS is installed on the PC?

    Open the CC DTA and in the upper right hand corner click the 3 dots and select "Check for App Updates".

    We do have 2 contracts for LR. One for Apple and onr for Windows. The latter uses Windows 10 Pro.

    LR is version 7.5 and CR8.1

    So I am lost!

    Did you open the CC DTA on the Win 10 system and do the Check for App Updates?????

    Restart you system and try that.
