Lens corrections -> Profile -> Lens Profile: changes to different lens when I adjust Vignetting

when I use a preset that has enabled profile corrections

I don't change the vignetting from the lens and set this to 0% but want the distortions to be corrected and leave this setting untouched

then I save the preset

 

Bug #1

new picture, new lens. press my preset, lens changes to the old lens.(why would the lens need to be different than metadata?)

 

Bug #2

I set the Setup to Auto in "Lens corrections" leading to the lens being changed back to the correct one

then I change the slider for the vignetting aaaand we are back to the wrong lens automatically

    I have gone through the stored profile and my hypothesis is that Lightroom is storing folowing information below that interferes wiht the expected behaviour. I tried changing LensProfileSetup to Auto and removing  [LensProfileName +LensProfileDigest ] however this didnt change the behaviour in a favourable way.

    So apparently, the preset was made from a photo taken with a Sigma lens. And the photo you want to apply it to used a Canon lens.

     

    is that Correct?

    I can't reproduce this on my Mac. You may have to set the correct lens and then use 'Save As New Lens Defaults' in the Setup popup menu. I have seen Lightroom using the wrong profile sometimes, and this is how you correct that. If the problem continues to happen, then try resetting the preferences:

    I tried to reverse history then your procedure, however the bug remains. 

     

    I have now also tried resetting the preferences without any luck. i still have the same behaviour.

    Please provide additional information, Operating system version number and Application version number.
