Lens Profile not found

Question

When attempting to implement a lens correction profile I get this:

However the correct lens is shown in the metadata: Fujifilm XF50-140mmF2.8 P LM WR. Since this is not a built-in lens I assume the profile is missing.

When I lens correct another Fuji lens it does find the correct lens profile. As in this case:

In both cases it shows Built-in lens Profile applied. But, again, there is a discrepancy and neither are built-in lenses.

How can I get the correct lens profile?

Click on the 'I' icon in front of the message that a built-in profile is applied. That will show some info about that profile. If this is a profile that corrects for distortion as well as chromatic aberration, then Lightroom Classic will not have its own lens profile (because it doesn't need to) and so you should not try to apply a lens profile. By the way, a built-in lens profile is not necessarily a profile for a built-in lens, like the lens of a compact camera. It's a profile for a lens that the camera knows and has a profile for, so it can be (and often is) an interchangeable lens.
