Lenteur LrC

Bonjour.

J'utilise LrC depuis bientôt 2 ans et depuis quelques mois je rencontre de gros problèmes de lenteur du logiciel. Difficile par conséquent de l'utiliser ces derniers temps.

Je me demande s'il s'agit d'un problème lié à mon PC (IntelR CoreTM i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz avec 61 Go de RAM, win 10) et sa configuration qui ne serait plus suffisante pour les dernières mises à jour de LrC ou un problème de stockge sur mon C ? Mon disque est partitionné en 2, avec un C sur lequel il reste 25 Go libre sur 236 Go et un D pour lequel j'ai encore 727 Go de libre sur 930 Go.

    with 61 GB RAM,

    Is that a typo? 61 seems an odd value, perhaps you meant 64?

    Bonjour, oui il s'agit d'une erreur de frappe, c'est bien 16 Go de RAM. et un système d'exploitation 64 bits.

    That is a very small hard drive, and this are very small partitions in terms of free space. What drive is your catalog on, and how much free space in percent, and I do mean %, looking for at least 20% free, some say 25% free.

    Effectivement sur le C: il reste 10 % de libre.

    Je vais essayer de modifier la partition de mon disque.

    Slowness performing what tasks in LrC? Please be specific. 

     

    Your CPU is 5 years old and somewhat slow by today's standards. Meanwhile, Lightroom Classic has evolved over the years to require more powerful hardware.

     

    Also, what is the exact make and model of your GPU?

    Your GPU doesn't even meet the minimum requirements for LrC 13. It does not have enough VRAM memory. In addition, it is 7 years old and likely very slow by today's standards.

     

    While having a small amount of free disk space will cause some slowness, it is my opinion that the slow CPU and slow GPU are the major causes of your problems.

     

    Also, please tell us your version NUMBER of LrC. Do not use words like "latest" or "up-to-date", we need the version NUMBER.
