Question

Library filter turns off when Enhancing

The Library filter is switching from Attribute to None when I Enhance a set of RAW files.

Lightroom 13.4, two displays. Main set to Loupe, secondary to Grid.

I assign color labels to selects and then filter by label in the secondary window..

When I choose some of the filtered images and Enhance, the Library filter switches from Attribute to None as soon as the first new DNG is saved out. They do successfully group into Stacks.

Expected behavoir, Library filter remains on Attribute, new DNG files have the same label and should be filtered in and shown as they are created.

This is by design, to avoid filtering out the newly produced DNG.  To stop the filters from resetting, lock them by clicking the lock icon:

Ok I'll try the lock. But the new DNG files are not filtered out regardless, they inhert the label and appear in the filtered results. :sigh: Another poor design choice.

"But the new DNG files are not filtered out regardless, they inhert the label and appear in the filtered results."

Right, sometimes the existing filters could filter the DNGs out, sometimes not. For example, if you're filtering by file type Raw, then the new DNGs could be filtered out.
