Library to Developer drastic colour change

when I move library image to Developer the dark areas turn a grainy blue and whites turnout red. Screenshots below. This is not a small change and cannot be edited out. I saw an old post about this and have checked my monitor settings as advised and set to sRGB IEC6 1966-2.1 I am new to LRc and now totally stuck and cannot edit any image so any assitance is appreciated. You have "clipping warnings" turned on - Develop has these, Library does not. The blue markings identify areas of the photos that are naturally, or are adjusted to be, so dark as to portray little or no detail - and the red markings tell you the same for very light areas.

Press J key to toggle these indications ON / OFF. They are just informational - won't appear in prints or exports.

Warnings are sometimes a call to action, and other times can be safely disregarded. And only you can judge that: the warnings are there to help you, you are not there to keep the warnings happy.

Sometimes we will be fine about a few very bright lit areas showing featureless white. Sometimes lightening a dark background enough to "make the warnings go away" might turn out worse, not better, pictorially. Myself: I seldom refer to these warnings and even then, only as a momentary check. They can also be selectively turned on and off using the little triangles top left and top right of the histogram panel in Develop.

Thank you so very much. J has sorted the issue and no longer getting the 'informational notice. As i said at the top I am new to LRc and thought I was missing something obvious.

It's far better to calibrate your monitor display system properly using a sensor and dedicated software. It's extremely unlikely that the monitor display system is correctly characterised by the sRGB ICC profile.

Using the wrong monitor display profile means you are unable to properly assess the colours in your image file.

I'm sure someone here will help you with the library to developer issue.

If one or the other is showing you the wrong appearance, then I would expect the developer to show you what is correct, to be frank.
