Lighroom Crashing A LOT on iMac M4 Tahoe 26.0

Hi @Mandy Fotografia, thanks for reaching out! As @dj_paige stated, Lightroom 14.5.1 is currently not officially supported on macOS Tahoe 26.0. A future update will likely address the compatibility issue.

In the meantime, here are a few steps that may help:

1  Disable GPU acceleration: Go to Preferences > Performance and uncheck “Use GPU for display.”

2  Pause syncing: In Preferences > Lightroom Sync, pause sync and check for stuck files.

3  Reset Lightroom Preferences: Please refer to this Helpx article for steps  https://adobe.ly/3HsQXpA. It is recommended that you back up your catalog before resetting preferences. You may refer to this article for more information:  https://adobe.ly/4dW8 qF.

4. Monitor system resources: Use Activity Monitor to check for memory or CPU spikes.
