Light Room Classic crashes when launched

Question

Light Room classic crashes as soon as I launch it, just dissapears. I have downloaded it and uninstalled it 3 times and the result is always the same. I made sure to through away the prefernces file each time. 
Using Mac OS 15.7.3 I tried to disable the GPU in the preferences file but cannot locate useAutoBahn in it. 
Does anyone know what could be causing this?

This could be caused by a corrupted catalog. Hold down the Option key when you start Lightroom Classic, to get a dialog about which catalog to use. Create a new catalog to see it that makes Lightroom run without crashing.

If this still crashes Lightroom, then it could also be corrupted preferences:
