Lightroom 4.0

Hi,

I would like to reinstall LIghtroom 4.0 but I do not more have the install package neither the serial number.

The Adobe support redirected my to the forum in order to get assistance.

Could someone assist with this?

    The serial number can be found, according to the instructions given by Just Shoot Me​. If you have the original e-mails, the serial numbers are in there as well.

    Suggestion: you should never be in the situation where you don't know your serial numbers, not just for Lightroom but for all of your software. I do it by creating a text file with an obvious name (like serial_numbers.txt) where I keep them all; this file is also backed up locally and to the cloud.

    I was able to move install my LightRoom on the new PC.

    Your suggestion about keeping the serial numbers in a text file with multiple copy is very useful as well. Will apply it.

    If you no longer have the serial number for LR 4 there is nothing anyone here or at Adobe can do to help you.

    Downloading the actual program install files isn't the problem. Here are links to the downloads.

    But if you don't have a record of the serial number for LR 4 then all you get is a 30 day trial.

    Do you have a computer that LR 4 was original installed on and is LR 4 still installed on the drive in that computer. You can find the serial number for it from a file on that computer.

    That link is for LR 5 but also works to find the serial for LR 4.

    But if the serial number for LR 4 was an Upgrade type you will also need a serial number from a previous version to complete the install.

    I still have access to my LightRoom running on the old PC.
