Lightroom 4.1 patch for Rebel T17

I have an older version of Lightroom 4.1, which is not a subscription. My daughter just bought a Canon EOS2000D Rebel T17. I would like to have her assist me occasionally, but my older version of Lightroom does not recognize the Rebel T17's raw files. Is there a patch I can apply to my software to do that? I use Windows if that matters.

First, there is no EOS2000D Rebel T17 that I can find. Perhaps you typed it wrong? If so, please correct the information.

You can download the free Adobe DNG Converter and use that to convert the raw files to DNG file, which can then be read by Lightroom 4.1.

2000D, european market, Rebel T7, U.S. market.

As for T17, typo?

You can use the Adobe DNG Converter to convert her files to DNG format, then import them into your version of Lightroom. See link below:
