Lightroom 5 error messages in print module

Hello,

I am having a somewhat persistent bizarre problem. In print module when I go to select the printer ( I have 3 Epson all with different presets 2 running Epson ink ( p6000 and 3880) and one running piezography. It flashes continual error messages that make no sense " changing the ....  will cause x and will not be completed " it asks you to press ok and then immediately another one comes up . As fast as you hit ok they come up. None of them make any sense can refer to any module and have absolutely no relevance to anything. Only way to stop it is to force quit.

everything I run is on 2013 software , the computer ( Mac book pro) has never connected to the internet. And  until this everything worked perfectly . If I need to add software I download it on another computer put it on a flash drive scan it for viruses and load the Mac. Not gonna buy creative cloud thank you. I also run photoshop , Nik suite , and DXO effects. I have no intention of updating the Mac to the latest os as it will be pulling the thread on the suit and will cause a whole chain reaction. All the other Lightroom modules and the plug ins work fine. How can I rid myself of this curse?

thank you

Welcome to the forum, just so you are aware this forum is a "user to user forum" so the responses you would get here are from users like yourself. I am not able to test your equipment or your software as they are quite dated. You say you have been doing updates via flash drive, what OS is your Mac running at the moment. As far as I am aware Mac's usually update Printer drivers via regular updates.

So a question, are you able to print to the printers using any other software on the Mac book pro?

Thank you

very much for your quick response
The printer drivers are all up to date - I checked the printer drivers . I purposely do not update anything because I have learned with apple with iPhones their updates are never simple and they like to screw with you by mixing up all your photos , and sending you unwanted U2 albums that you can’t get rid of . Their improvements in fact make everything much more difficult, Apple TV is crap , I threw it out and bought a Roku. Unfortunately Macs work better than PCs for running power sucking photography software. Additionally I don’t want to buy creative cloud I own my own software, my Leica’ s all work well with the setup, - some of them are to old to update the firmware, etc. the printers are all calibrated to an Eizo display and until this everything worked beautifully . I have printed big shows on my setup- I am not a novice - I have a gallery that represents me . I don’t make a living from it but it is my passion and I regularly have solo shows in commercial galleries and exhibitions.
( picture attached of my setup)
So I don’t print anything else from the Mac. I have a separate HP laser printer and a PC that I do all my work from and anything personal. The Mac has never been connected to the Internet is still running the same software that it had when it came out of the box in August 2013, and I have not updated any of the photography software because there is no need. If it ain’t broke why fix it?

That being said I am nearly 60 I did not grow up with computers they simply did not exist and I don’t really have a fascination or interest in computers other than it means to the end and accordingly when things like this happen I’m pretty helpless.
I really don’t want to start reloading software because then the camera firmware is going to be screwed and the plug-ins aren’t going to work and the printers are going to not work that’s been my experience in the past and I’m going to have to hire someone to fix it all - the guy who calibrates my display and he’s very expensive. Plus I live on an I’d rather do it myself if I can but I am not ever connecting next computer to the Internet it has never been connected to it and as soon as I plug it into the Internet I’m going to start getting spammed by Apple and Adobe and everyone else and Apple is going to start screwing with The computer and possibly slowing it down like they do with the phones, because they would like me to buy a new one with no USB ports and one lightning port!
( my last iPhone change it kept insisting my Apple ID was something that it wasn’t and none of apps or passwords would load. I went to the apple store and said I just spent $1500 and i am irate . The snotty millennial shrugged and told me to delete them all and get them again! Now that’s customer service. Buying an Android next time.
Sorry to go on a rant but my experiences have made me very Cautious
Thank you and regards , Jeremy
