Lightroom 5 problem loading and updating new computer

Just be aware that Lr5 might well be a dog to get working on Windows 11 (if it works at all, which is far from certain) - and there will be no Adobe support if you can't.

LR 5 doesn't use activation, you only need a valid serial number. There is no need to register.

Lightroom 5 is more than 10 years old and unsupported for years now.

Anyhow, if you have the disc, there is nothing to download. Registering is not possible anymore either as these servers are not running anymore.

With lots of luck, you are able to install and use it without registering. I don't remember if v5 needs activation. If yes, you're out of luck, as these servers — as far as I know — are also not running anymore.
