hello

merci

cordialement

Eric

Using Lightroom 6.0, I am planning to buy a 27" 4K screen but have some doubts about the readability of texts (menus & tools), compared to a 27" full HD screen...

-> is there a Lightroom update that makes texts size adjustable ?

thanks & regards

Eric

To adjust the font size of the interface, go to Preferences > Interface. The largest font size is 250%, which should be sufficient.

But I don't have have a 4k screen, so I can't say for sure.

Another thing to consider is that a 4k monitor may slow Lightroom down, there have been many reports about this, and you need to have a compatible GPU. If you for some reason have to disable the GPU, it will be really slow.

Also bear in mind that the pixels on this monitor will probably be much smaller than the pixels on your current monitor.

This may make it difficult to evaluate the sharpness of images - everything tends to look sharp on these monitors.

I am perfectly happy with my 24" 1920 x 1200 monitor, where I can easily see what's sharp and what's not, and I see no benefit in having a higher resolution monitor. (I have a second 1600 x 1200 monitor as well)

Lightroom 6.14 was the last update ever offered for Lightroom 6. There will be no further updates or any further support for Lightroom 6. I don't believe there is any significant text font size adjustment available that would make any appreciable difference when switching to the monitor you are referring to.
