Lightroom 6.0 won't open on my MacBook Pro

Help! I have a photoshoot coming up in a few days and I can't open Lightroom 6.0!!

I have been trying to launch my LR 6.0 on my MacBook Pro Version 10.10.5 Yosemite however, each time I click on it, it has been freezing and I have to force quit. I haven't had problems opening it before and have restarted my computer multiple times.
