I need to deactivate Lightroom 6.5 on a dead computer. How can I do this so I can use it on a new computer.

Thanks.

I am on an iMac running OS Sierra.

Deactivation is only required if you're a Creative Cloud user. If you don't have a Creative Cloud account then you'll just need the serial number to access Lr on new computer.

To deactivate a computer you'll need access to a working computer with internet access.

1. From your internet browser open https://account.adobe.com https://accounts.adobe.com/

2. Use your Creative Cloud credentials to access the account

3. Choose Plans & Products from menu bar

4. Now choose Manage Plan.

5. You should see a screen similar to below. Your active hardware is shown on right side.

6. Click on X button beside the computer you wish to deactivate

Sorry but this is not true I have LR6 stand alone version. I used LR on desktop and laptop. My desktop was destroy. After reinstall windows I can't activate LR. LR show me the same massage "You need to deactivate another computer within 30 day to use this product". In Adobe account I don't have information about Activated devices.
