Lightroom 6.8 and CC 2015.8 Update

Hi,

I have just tried to install the update to Lightroom and it stopped at 99% and stayed there for 50 minutes. I was unable to close the updater and had to stop it by using the task manager. Now when I try and open Lightroom I receive a message to say that the folder cannot be found.

It appears as though I need to reinstall Lightroom however....can anyone suggest where I start please?

    Hi,

    I have solved the problem. I downloaded and reinstalled Lightroom 6. I then downloaded the update again and it installed without any problem.
