Just upgraded to lightroom 6 from lightroom 5.7. all went well. // now i get  lightroom catalog is not reponding. whats up? jim

    Hi jims,

    You may try an reset the Lightroom preferences back to defaults and check if that helps

    refer: Preference file and other file locations | Lightroom CC and 6

    Also, you can turn off the Graphics Processor from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps.

    Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck the GPU > Restart Lightroom
