Lightroom 6 an canon cr3

Question

Ihave just updated my Lighroom 5 to Lightroom 6 in order to be able to work with cr3 raw file made by a new canon M50.But, even LR 6 is not able to load cr3 files. How can I update?Thank you

The Canon M50 is supported by Lr 7.3 or higher, Lr CC 1.3 or higher and Camera Raw 10.3. Your choice is to update to one or more of these or convert your image to DNG using the free DNG converter application Digital Negative (DNG), Adobe DNG Converter | Adobe Photoshop CC

Unfortunately, that model is not and will not be sported in any version or update of Lightroom 6. Your only alternative if you want to continue using Lightroom 6 will be to download the free DNG converter (latest version) and convert the raw files to the DNG format and then import those into Lightroom. The DNG conversion process in Lightroom will only convert raw files that it already supports, so that option isn't available either.
