I recently purchased a new desktop Mac running OS Sonoma. I have used Lightroom for a number of years and my question is can I install this on my new Mac?

The very old Lightroom 6 (at least 6 years old now) was never designed to be installed or run on Sonoma, and cannot be installed on Sonoma.

Thank you so much for your reply. I was doubtful that Lightroom 6 would run on Sonoma but I thought I would check with experts first.

For your new Mac you will need a subscription to the Photography Plan 20GB US$9.99/m

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography/compare-plans.html

Note all the Apps you have access to in this Plan!  It will be about 11 years of subscriptions before you will match the up-front cost of those apps back in about 2007!  One meal at MacDonalds can cost me $20.!!!

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.3, Photoshop 27.5, ACR 18.3, Lightroom 9.3, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.3 .
