Updated from light room 2 to light room 6.  Started reorganizing files.  I have several folders showing in Library Module but says " the file could not be found"  in Development Module .

    Started reorganizing files.

If you did this with the Operating system (Finder / File Explorer) then you will have problems -for sure!

My advice ... organize using Lightroom constructs such as keywords, captions and other metadata. Leave the photos where they are, don't move them, and assign all of your photos keywords and other metadata as needed. New photos can be imported into folders named by capture date (it's the Lightroom default and takes zero effort to do this after the first time).

In other words, use Lightroom's strengths, because it was designed to organize photos. Don't use the weaknesses of your operating system, which was not designed to organize photos.
