Hi all, I have Lightroom 6 as a orinanal stand alone licence.

After I did the Adobe update for Lightroom the program removed itself from my MAC -

I reinstalled it and since then every time I try and start the program it crashes Instantly and unable to use it.

I never had any issues with the program until I did the update.

Im not getting any support from Adobe except to ask the forum,

Help? if not I want my money back.

Have you tried to deactivate the GPU support?

You can also try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

What you probably did was use the Creative Cloud Desktop app and you installed LR Classic CC V7 and in the process it uninstalled LR 6.

You need to uninstall LR C CC V7 and then download the Base LR 6 installer and the .14 update from here.

    Download Photoshop Lightroom

Then Uninstall the Creative Cloud Desktop app as with the stand alone license you don't need it and should not use it.

Please state the exact version NUMBER of the update. (We need the version NUMBER and not words like "latest")
