Lightroom 7.3 Update Huge adjustment lagging

I would find it hard to believe if i'm the only one suffering from this tremendous lag when editing photos.

Has anyone else had 4-6 second lag when making a correction/ editing with lets say the brush tool. You click add your adjustment and literally wait 5 seconds before your edit appears.  Obviously this is critical to my workflow and makes editing and photo a monumental frustrating task. The previous Lightroom MAYBE once in a great while would lag for a second or two which I would say is normal.

I am using a GTX 1080 card, 6g of ram, and only running Lightroom when experiencing this. This is so bad it makes me not want to edit photos at all, just seems strange why it would all of the sudden be so bad. Anyone who might know the cause of this any info would greatly be appreciated. I was so excited to use the new features but their all so slow it renders the program useless to me unfortunately.

Do you have tried to deactivate the GPU support? Maybe it helps.

    Hey Axel Matt,

I really appreciate your reply. I do remember a week ago a prompt for a new Nvidia driver for my 1080 card. I didn't think much of it and put it aside. Your comment made me remember that I hadn't in fact updated the latest driver. I did not initially consider that a factor with the Lightroom issue, I was wrong.

I updated to the latest driver and turned GPU support back on, Bingo we have workflow again. Things are responding in a reasonable manor and I can edit as I did before. I appreciate your input, glad it was a silly overlook instead of an actual issue.

For reference I am running windows 10 64 bit, 6g ram, gtx1080, HDD. Hopefully this can help someone else.
