Your version of Lightroom doesn't support Canon's 80D. You have to buy an update of Version 6.5.

Otherwise you can download Adobe's DNG Converter. Then you have convert the RAW files into DNG and then you xcan import this files into Lightroom and can work with it.

That camera requires at least Lightroom 6.5/CC 2015.5. What version of Lightroom do you have installed?

    Tell us more.

What do you see in Lightroom where the image should be? (show us a screen capture)

What version number of Lightroom do you have? (go to Help->System Info)

Can you import the photos, or not?
