Lightroom - Adding multiple filters to different parts of photo

I want to add one of my preset filter to the person in the photo. I want to add a separate filter to the background. Is that possible? I feel like if I could add my general presets to the brush tool presets this would be possible..

As I understand adjustment templates- they are not interchangeable between 'global' and 'Local'.

For a start, global adjustment presets have access to all the adjustment panels (tone curves, split toning, etc) whereas Brush presets can only use the adjustments that appear in the Brush tool panel.

(Trying to convert a preset 'global' to 'Local' by modifying in a text editor does not work. although I tried )

Other experts may tell me that 'nothing is impossible'.

Filters apply to the entire photo.

You could use the adjustment brush (or radial filter, or graduated filter) to modify one part of the photo, and then use the adjustment brush again to provide different modifications to the 2nd part of the photo.

Thank you DJ_paige, I understand how to do that. I have hundreds of preset filters that I would like to use for my adjustment brush. Is that possible?
