Photoshop applies the adjustments to the pixels, so resetting them on return in Lightroom is simply impossible. They are 'baked in'. Most likely you switched back to the original photo in Lightroom. Sending a raw photo to Photoshop always leads to an RGB-copy on return, sending an RGB leads to the dialog shown by @AxelMatt. In both cases you will get a copy on return if you sent the photo with its Lightroom edits included to Photoshop.

Normally, the image seen in PS for a new external edit begins in an unsaved state. There is nothing yet existing that LrC can import back and display. The Catalog waits for either a Save or a Save As of your PS working document. If you close this without saving then LrC shows nothing new for the external edit you've done - or in some less usual circumstances (*) it may do so already, but unless / until a Save happens, that will not reflect your new alterations done in PS.

By the way any Export that you may have made while within PS was invisible to LrC (and none of its business).

(*) including if an older, non-intercompatible version of PS is used; or if either PS or some other external editor has been accessed in a secondary way by invoking a named external editing preset

In which format do you have stored your original images?

How do you send the image to Photoshop?

Is there a dialog to choose some options?

If yes, which option do you had chosen?

Why do you export from Photoshop?

I think the better way is to send the image back to Lightroom and do the export from LR.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 9 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI

In which format do you have stored your original images?

RAW (Nikon)

How do you send the image to Photoshop?

I right click and select "Edit in Photoshop 2026"

Is there a dialog to choose some options?

Normally no, if you are opening in PS from Lr, but when you open a previously processed photo '"YES"  it asks, which you have shown in screen shot " and I choose "Edit a copy with Lightroom adjustements"
