I've updated my Lightroom to version 9.1..... unfortunately I can't upgrade my pre-existant catalog.I've tried everything:tried with previous backup of my catalogtried to downgrade back to 8.4.1tried to create new catalog and import from the existing one.... Can anyone help?

I've updated my Lightroom to version 9.1..... unfortunately I can't upgrade my pre-existant catalog.

I've tried everything:

tried with previous backup of my catalog
tried to downgrade back to 8.4.1
tried to create new catalog and import from the existing one
....

Can anyone help?

What is your OS version?

What happens in the upgrade proces? If you get an error message, post it here.

I have Catalina operating system.

now i dont have the computer with me because im on vacation.

But i can say that it tries to upgrade the catalog, and it fails.

What i can't understand is why it doesnt work when i restore the catalog files from my TimeMachine backup and downgrade the Lighroom to the previous version.
