Lightroom Catalog to launch with custom 'Catalog Settings'

Question

I am a high-volume photographer who works with many LR catalogs (a new one for each job), and every time I create a new LR catalog I need to adjust the same Catalog Settings to help my editing process go quicker (ie. smaller previews).

Q: Is there a way to adjust the default catalog settings to reflect my go-to Catalog Settings so that when I create a new catalog these settings are already set?

You can make a "template catalog" containing all your settings, keywords, smart collections, etc. Then every time you start a new job, make a copy of the template catalog's folder and use that copy for the job. See this thread for more details:
