Lightroom Catalog Upgrade - Feature Request

As a Lightroom instructor, every time a new version of LR requires a catalog update, I get a deluge of questions from students asking what to do, and is it safe?

To help walk people through it, I made a youtube video detailing the process to avoid future confusion re catalogs:

Somehow these steps need to be integrated into the process in LR Classic... the dialog box should have the option to name your updated catalog, as well as store old catalogs in an appropriately named folder, and make the updated catalog the default one for LR.

These steps would greatly ease the anxiety people feel when upgrading their catalogs, and avoid confusion about which catalogs is the current one.
