Hi,

Some time ago I made different catalogues in lightroom:for every year 1.

Now and want to make back 1 again.

I opent lightroom with the catalogue of 2023 and I got all the photo's of 2023 in the map 2023 .It is shown on the left site in lightroom.

Now I choose for "import from an other catalogue" and go to the map on an extern HD.Choose for the map 2022 and import the photo's.

When its done I see all the photo's from 2022 and 2023 ,but I dont have a map called 2022;the map 2023 is on the left side in lightroom.

Is it possible to get the photo's from 2022 back into the right folder?

Please show us a screen capture of what you see in the folder panel of the "combined" catalog. Also, if possible, please show us a screen capture of what the 2022 catalog shows for the folder panel. Please use the "Insert Photos" icon to include your screen captures in your reply; do NOT attach files.

I found it,it is ok now.

The imported maps in lightroom ar "under" a map that has the name of my external drive where the photo's are in.

I didn't see that at first.

Thanks for the quick help.

Now I choose for "import from an other catalogue" and go to the map on an extern HD.Choose for the map 2022 and import the photo's.

In the Import from another Catalog dialog box, did you choose the option "Add New Photos To Catalog Without Moving" or the option "Copy New Photos To A New Location And Import" ?
