Quit Lightroom. Go to your Creative Cloud app and log out of your account. Log back into it. Then restart Lightroom. If it still doesn't sync again log out of your creative cloud account and reboot the whole computer. Then log back in to creative cloud and start Lightroom.

Its important to know if the previous computer is still synced to the Creative Cloud?

This update has been very glitchy for me.  I am running a iMac with 24 gb RAM and I keep getting the multicolored spinning circle.  I have Sierra 10.13.4.  It will not import photos directly from my card - i have to import them onto the hard drive first and then it will import in LR.  I can't find the Creative profiles which were supposed to help me get over the loss of my presets.  Sorry to say this Adobe, but this long term customer thinks this was a mess. It got hung up after about 45 minutes when it was supposed to be converting my presets but nothing happened and I had to force quit LR.

    Hi PeterSippe,

We're really sorry that you are facing the sync issue with Lightroom.

Could you please let us know the exact version of Lightroom you are using now? Have you moved all the images and using the same catalog after upgrading to new machine?

    Regards,

    Mohit

    Hi Mohit,

Thank you for the reply. I have Lightroom CC Classic version 7.3.1. The catalogue is correct, and Lightroom is working very well. Lightroom on the web has synced from my phone seamlessly. I did have one photo that was coming up as an "error". I have deleted that, and there are no "Errors" in the catalogue section situated in the top LH side of the Lightroom "Library" interface. The sync was working perfectly on my old Mac Pro. I do hope you will be able to resolve this issue as it is important part of my work flow.

    Thanks again,

    Regards,

    Peter Sippe
