lightroom cc and classic updates

I am trying to update both versions of lightroom to my desktop but they both freeze at 43% and go no further any suggstions

Please post some detait of your operating system and the current version of LR you have installed.

Some thoughts, is your Adobe Creative Cloud application up to date? There was a major update a few weeks ago with a completely new look.

Are you using the ACC appt to access the update or did you do so direct from the individulal application?

Thanks very much, there were updates running in the background which seemed to slow and even stop what I was trying to do. I cancelled my updates until they had finished and then ran my lightroom updates individualy and things appear to be running fine. I was using the ACC app to access the updates.
