Lightroom CC classic popup to start free trial

Hi

I am using lightroom classic cc on macbook pro running mojave. When i log in a popup box appears to ask me start new trial , when i close the box lightroom closes. I am logged into adobe and creative cloud , my account is up to date. Any suggestions. Currently unable to use lightroom.
