Question

Lightroom CC image location on iPhone

The folder All photos contains all photos in my synced collections in my iPhone and iPad. But is there a way to find only images taken with the Lightroom camera?

Where is a photo taken with the Lightroom camera stored?

If you enter 'iphone' in the search field, Lightroom CC will search for photos that have the word 'iphone' somewhere in their metadata. That will give you all photos taken with the iPhone (but not necessarily taken with the Lightroom camera app).

The photos are first stored in the disk allocation of Lightroom CC, then uploaded to the cloud. Depending on the settings they will then be replaced by smart previews on the phone.

    Thanks!

But is there a way to tell where the images are stored in the app or are they always stored in All photos? A workaround is to create a collection in the Lightroom app and take all images from inside of that collection, but that’s not ideal.

They are always shown in 'All Photos'. That is why it is called 'All Photos', not 'Some Photos'.

Where they are technically stored is not that relevant, but iOS allocates storage per app.
