Question

Lightroom Classic 10 Library Module - Images not displaying correctly at 100%

Hi all, my first post here in this forum - please go easy 😉

Installed the updates yesterday. Have noticed that when I view an image in the Library module, when I click to zoom to 100%, the image doesn't display corectly, slightly pixelated etc. All was fine before the upgrade to version 10. Was prompted to start a new Catalog File when I opened for the first time.

iMac 5k Mid 2015, 3.3GHZ intel i5, Running MacOS Mojave 10.14.6, 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon R9 M290 2GB

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Thank you.

Ben

If you have an iMac, then LrC 10 appears to break the generation and management of full res previews, and only the lower res standard previews seem to be used. There's a topic on this elsewhere in this forum.

Many thanks to both of you for your replies. I did delete the Previews-lrdata file but the same problem is there (took quite a while for the previews to rebuild).

Seems there is an issue within this version...will hopefully be addressed asap.

Thanks.

While in LrC, bring up /preferences/performance/. Purge the Camera RAW CACHE (bit of confusion, if this not normal operation helps)

Close LrC. Using your file manager, delete the library` preview files.

Restart LrC, be patient, LrC will rebuild the Library previews
