Lightroom Classic 11.5 will not open my Z8 raw files

My Mac OS is 10.15.7 - it is the newest it will take - iMac 2013.  Is there anything I can do to read my Z8 raw files with this setup?  Camera raw 15.5 will only install on OS 11.

There is also a hack that you can do to get a newer mac os X on your machine. It's called opencore legacy patcher. Very unsupported by Apple or Adobe but will work to run the latest operating system and thus latest Lightroom versions. Not recommending you do this but it is a way to still use old hardware.

You can use the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert the Z 8 raws to DNGs before importing them into older versions of LR:

WOW - the newst version of DNG 15.5 converter needs OS11 - so I found some older ones - and downloaded 13.0 which matches my OS 10 system (it would be interesting if there is a ver14).  It downloaded - but out of the box it will not convert my Z8 files saying  they are unreadable - so I went to the preferences area and I can't find any options that will open the files - any ideas - hopefully I missed something.
