Lightroom Classic 12.01 Updates

After Update

1. Exporting HDR photos fail randomly and unstable results for normal photo as well.
2. Re-export might works at times but often 90% success rate out of all photos exported.
3. HDR Merge photo makes resolution smaller than normal.
4. Lightroom Classic 12.0 updates causes catalog easy corrupt. Unstable but with 12.01, that issue is solved.

Overall, did not expect more issues with lightroom with this latest version. Basic function issues. Not sure but also notice RAM usage increase which may be the cause of export issues. Usually export issues come once we hit 16GB RAM usage but my PC is 24GB RAM. Overall unclear of issue.

Might as well inquire, what GPU do you have, what GPU driver version? You can pull that info from LrC /Help/System Info.

Looking at your Windows taskbar, looks like you have nine apps running. LrC is a resource hog, what happens if you close those apps?

Tried, still happening. Before the updates, had no such issues with lightroom classic running with HDR Merge while doing other work at the same time.

Adding on, Doing HDR is prone to have more issues now with the latest update. More failed attempt for HDR merge with 3 photos. I can't confirm if it is Adobe or Windows 10 latest update issue as windows did some updates lately.

When you attempted the merge, did you go thru the "normal" process of selecting the photos, starting the merge, and getting the preview, then selecting various settings like ghost, etc. Or, did you use the shortcut to skip the preview stage?

Went through the normal process as mentioned by you 😃
