Lightroom Classic 12.2.1 very slow in develop (masking), export and import.

This is not a new thing, it started happening after the previous update or even before. Import and export takes literally forever, and I'm not talking about huge amounts of files. Today, for example, it took about 15 minutes to import 87 files from my SDXC (lexar pro). I have tried resetting preferences, removig the preference file physically, re-installing LRC - nothing worked. I use the latest studio nvidia driver and I think I am still above the recommended specs. Please find the attached system info.

What occurs if you use a different user account to log onto your computer. perhaps the Admin account, then run LrC?

What occurs if you start your computer in safe mode, any account, then run LrC?

I haven't tried another account as I'm the admin and only account on my laptop. In safe mode import of 31 files took 3.5 minutes - way too long. During that process I could see spikes in CPU and RAM usage reaching 40% and almost 5GB respectively.

Create a test account with admin privileges and try running LR from there. LR accesses many user-specific files and infrequently they get corrupted. The easiest way to test that is to run LR from a new account.
