lightroom classic 12.3 denoise crashing windows 11 PC

 i have a windows 11 Pc with a 10th generation i7 processor 12m ofmemory and a radion rx550 video card  with 4 m of memory when   request the enhance dialog to  produce the denoised DNG the process takes along time, and  eventually crashes my video card.  this also does the same thing if I use camera raw through photoshop.  my  files are Olympus orf file, and insight into why this is happening?

I had same issue with dng files on windows 10.

Set preferences, performance, GPU to custom and checked all boxes.

So far so good.

Denoise and Masks are both very picky about the GPU drivers. You haven't mentioned your driver version, but I think it would be worth checking the AMD site for the latest compatible driver. I've provided a link below for a page that matches your GPU card, but best do your own search.

Your GPU driver, what version?

 

Your VRAM on the GPU, how much again? 4Gb? Might be too low.
