I already tried restarting, reinstall, privacy settings, accessability, full disc access - cannot get LrC to start. Please help!

Try these specific troubleshooting steps:

Try repairing the folder-level permissions for Lightroom Classic. In this article, scroll down to 'Manually change folder permissions' & follow each step until the step for starting up in Safe Mode: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/lightroom-basic-troubleshooting-fix-most-issues.html
Boot your Mac in safe mode & check if Lightroom Classic works. Check this for help: https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mac-help/mh21245/mac
