I'm at my wits end trying to figure out why LR Classic version 13.4 keeps shutting out when I'm trying to cull my images.

PC -win 10,  64 bit,  32 ram

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor 3.80 GHz ,

AMD  Radeon RX 6700 XT,   Adrenalin Edition says that my 24.7.1  driver is up to date but device manager states that it's using  windows driver 32.0.11029.1008

I have rebooted my PC a number of times, uninstalled and reinstalled LR Classic but problem persists.

Plenty of space on my HD"s

Hey, @. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Is there a crash report pop-up when Lightroom Classic crashes? Please submit the crash reports to us: https://adobe.ly/4cE76mn

Where do you keep your Lightroom Catalog? Internal drive or an external drive?

Before troubleshooting, please update Lightroom Classic v13.5 via the Creative Cloud desktop app. Besides Lightroom crashing, check the Processes in the Task Manager (Windows) for unexpected read/write operations.

To begin troubleshooting, test some variables like:

  • Unplug any external peripherals & use wired input devices.
  • Unplug external drives.
  • Temporarily, unplug extra displays & only keep one active at a time.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

@mention My LR catalog is located in the internal drive. Task manager does not show anything unusual. I only use one display monitor. I suspected that my wireless mouse was causing an issue so I purchased a new higher quality mouse with same results. I updated to v13.5 only to be informed that lightroom was shutting down. At times LR would freeze and just shut down with no pop up window..
