Lightroom Classic 14.3 - CPU started overheating on import
Hi, since upgrading to Lightroom 14.3 i have found that my CPU is overheating on imports of more than 200 images. These are Nikon RAW files from a D500 and D850 . Has anyone else experienced similar?
As part of the import i apply lens corrections automatically. I have found that that after about 200 images the CPU goes beyond 100C and shuts down to protect itself. This has never happened before.
PC specs: Windows 10 Pro, 22H2. AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, GeForce GT 1030, 16GB RAM, over 300 GB free on SSD system drive.
Yes i know it is an old PC and my plan is to downgrade to Windows 11 later this year. But I am trying to squeeze the last amount of use from the present box until it is repurposed as Ubuntu server
I would just to know if anyone else has seen a similar phenomenon since 14.3? I plan to stop the automatic application of lens corrections to see if that helps. Otherwise I will have to accelerate my plans to replace this PC.
Many thanks in advance for any help
