Lightroom Classic 15.4.1 YY Before/After view is blank after catalog update

Apologies for the delayed response. Since Lightroom Classic 15.5.1 is now available, could you please update to the latest version and let us know whether the issue still occurs?

Also, try rebuilding previews. If the Before image still appears blank, it may be a preview cache issue. You can go to Library > Previews > Build Standard-Sized Previews to regenerate them.

If Y/y is still blank in 15.5.1, please share:

• Help > System Info > Copy and paste the information here.
• Whether this happens with all photos or only certain images.
• Whether both sides of the Y|Y comparison are blank, or only the Before or After side.
• Whether the issue occurs immediately after opening the catalog or only after working for some time.
• A short screen recording showing the image in Develop and what happens when you switch to Y|Y.

As a quick diagnostic test, please also go to Lightroom Classic > Preferences > Performance, temporarily set Use Graphics Processor to Off, restart Lightroom Classic, and check Y|Y again.

If the problem remains in 15.5.1, these details will help us investigate whether the rendering issue introduced after the update is still present.
