Lightroom Classic 15 not importing

I've recently updated Lightroom Classic to version 15.0 on my iMac mini M1, 16 MB RAM running Sequoia. In the update process I updated my catalogue as normal and everything was running fine. Today it won't import anything. I've tried using a hub, a card reader and copied the files to my backup drive, it won't show any files. When I select a file source I get the spinning circle of dots bottom left but nothing else no matter how long I wait. I thought it might be down to culling so I've turned that off, no change. Any ideas?

I'm having this same issue with Lightroom Classic 15.0.1 . This is on a M3 MacBook Pro, with 36 GB or RAM and Tahoe 26.1 . It doesn't matter whether I'm trying to import from a memory card or from a folder on the internal hard drive, the folder appears empty even when there are brand new images in it that have never been imported before.

I've already tried resetting Lightroom Classic's preferences, and verified that it does have full disk access in Settings.

Also tested importing in Lightroom 9.0, and it still works normally. So this seems to be specific to Lightroom Classic.

Should I try reinstalling it? Or something else? Just let me know if you need any more information and I'll be glad to provide it.

In the Import dialog box, click on COPY at the top (even if you want to use ADD, please click on COPY). Then, make sure the Destination panel on the right is present, expanded (click the triangle to open it) and points to a folder that actually exists. If that fixes the problem, you can click back on ADD.

Please go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or in a text file and sharing the file with us.

Meanwhile, please check if Lightroom Classic has access to Files and Folders, and Full Disk Access on your Mac. You can check out the steps here: https://adobe.ly/3WzME0e

Hi, thanks for replying. For some reason the problem has now disappeared and my system will load files again. I can't suggest the cause as nothing changed but I will monitor it to see if it occurs again. However, I do still have a problem in that for a few months, I can't now say exactly when this started, when reading an SD card it takes ages to read the card and show the images in the import window, sometime 5 minutes. It will show the outline of a file but not show the image. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Text file of system info. below.

Not a MAC user, so lacking direct experience, and it may be questionable if I should put my two cents in, but..

That path to your catalog, does that mean that the catalog is on the cloud? Or does that indicate that an auto sync to the cloud is occurring? (as in that folder is on the computers drive, but exists at that folder as to support cloud auto sync)If the later, this could be similar to what Windows users sometimes run into when using MS OneDrive.
